Violent Behavior and Mental Illness: Perspectives on Papers in This Issue
Abstract
Editor's note: The articles in this special issue are wide-ranging in their examination of the relationship between violent behavior and mental illness and are sometimes overlapping or contradictory in their findings and conclusions. To help synthesize the information they present, we asked Carl C. Bell, M.D., a member of H&CP's editorial board who has done extensive research on various aspects of violent behavior, to review the articles as a group and to share his perspectives with H&CP readers.
