Abstract
The Los Angeles Center for Training in Community Psychiatry seeks to positively influence the delivery of mental health services in Southern California by helping key mental health professionals respond to new developments in the field. Its courses focus primanly on new technologies, new or changing community issues, legislative issues, and administrative decisions. The center's development and its program are described.
