With our clinical partner, Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, the Department staffs three clinics, with outpatient and partial hospital programs for children and adults, 58 adult and 16 child/adolescent beds, ECT and other neuromodulation services, specialty sleep and eating-disorders programs, and expanding psychiatric consultation for Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Our current psychiatry faculty numbers 43, with planned increases, plus 23 residents and fellows. We are about to start a new Psychology Internship. We have a growing research portfolio, with basic and clinical science and close collaboration with allied neuroscience disciplines at several Penn State campuses.

Research faculty positions: The Department is looking for research inclined faculty, either MD or PhD, to help expand the department’s research mission.
