This month's guest expert on differential diagnosis by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, third edition, is Dr. Helen Kaplan, clinical professor of psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College and director of the sex therapy program at the Payne Whitney Clinic in New York City. She was a member of the advisory committee on psychosexual disorders for DSM-III.
