The American Academy of Child Psychiatry held its 20th annual meeting October 19-21, 1973, in Washington, D.C., with approximately 800 of the 1100 members attending. Scientific papers focused on therapeutic issues, clinical aspects of care, and special treatment programs, while workshops and panels dealt with broader topics related to training, administration, and improvement of services.
