After 17 years of extensive USC in treating the psychoses, antipsychotic agents are still inappropriately prescribed by psychiatrists and other physicians. To help remedy the situation, the author has compiled a set of clearly defined principles of drug administration. He believes that the mastery of these basicprinciples can lead to the skill and expertise necessary to use the drugs in the most effective and economical manner.
