Abstract

Exclusively an inpatient facility for many years, Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital has refocused its resources to provide a broad spectrum of community services. The hospital is currently developing a comprehensive community mental health center for its catchment area. In addition, it has established a drug abuse program, and is participating in a collaborative program with a nearby college to train mental health specialists.
